Russia betrays its military along with the bodies of Ukrainian defenders.

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Ihor Klymenko, stated that militants from Russia are complicating the identification of deceased individuals being transferred as part of the exchange. They are trying to complicate the repatriation process by sending their soldiers' bodies along with Ukrainian ones.

“This is yet another example of how Russia does not respect its own citizens by sending their bodies to mass graves alongside our soldiers' bodies. It shows how soulless Russia is towards human life. This is probably their way of avoiding payments to families, but they will pay anyway: we are returning these bodies.”

One example of this is when bodies were presented in a terrible state, with parts of the bodies placed in different bags. Russian servicemen transferred their dead to the Ukrainian side. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reports that identifying these bodies from Russia will take more than a year.
