Russian losses on the front in October reached a record level

In October, Russian losses on the front became the largest since the beginning of the war. On average, the occupiers lost 1,354 soldiers per day. This was reported by British Defense Minister John Healey in an interview with The Telegraph.

Healey stated that the Russian momentum on the battlefield does not mean they are unstoppable.

According to British intelligence, Russian losses in the war reached a record level in October. The average daily losses of the Russian Federation on the front amounted to 1,354 people.

This is the second consecutive month that Russian troops have suffered record losses in the war. Last month, Russia lost about 41,980 people.

According to UK intelligence, the previous anti-record was in May 2024, when the occupiers lost 39,110 people.

It is noted that the Russian Federation spends 40% of its budget on defense, which is disadvantageous. Therefore, some analysts predict problems in the Kremlin with continuing such expenses after 2025.

The British Defense Minister confidently stated that Ukraine and the West will win the war of attrition against the Russian Federation.

As of November 9, the Russian Federation has lost about 707,540 personnel in the war with Ukraine.

It was also reported that North Korean soldiers sent to fight in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation suffered their first losses in combat with the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

Over three months of fighting on Russian territory, enemy losses on the Kursk front amounted to almost 21,000 killed and wounded.
