Russia launched 497 missiles and drones at Ukraine: results of repelling the attack.
On the night of October 10, a combined strike against Ukraine was carried out by the enemy, which included strike drones and missiles. A total of 497 aerial targets were launched. This information was made public by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine based on data from the 'Glavkom' portal.
Russian attack on Ukraine:
- 465 strike UAVs of the Shahed and 'Gerbera' types,
- two supersonic ballistic missiles X-47M2 'Kinzhal',
- 14 ballistic missiles 'Iskander-M'/KN-23,
- 12 cruise missiles 'Iskander-K',
- four guided air-to-surface missiles X-59/69.
According to inkorr.com: The air defense worked effectively, destroying or suppressing 420 aerial targets:
- 405 enemy UAVs of the Shahed and 'Gerbera' types,
- one supersonic ballistic missile X-47M2 'Kinzhal',
- four ballistic missiles 'Iskander-M'/KN-23,
- nine cruise missiles 'Iskander-K',
- one guided air-to-surface missile X-59/69.
Missile hits and crashes:
Strikes were recorded at 19 locations, where debris was found at seven of them. Four enemy missiles did not reach their targets and were lost; the crash site is currently being clarified.
On the same night, the Russian Federation again attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure, preparing a large-scale strike on facilities that had already been shelled in 2022.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky noted that the night attack involved over 450 drones and more than 30 missiles.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha appealed to international partners to respond to Russian aggression against important civilian facilities in Ukraine.
The enemy's combined strike against Ukraine on the night of October 10 turned out to be large-scale and led to damage to several aerial targets. The response of the Ukrainian military was effective, destroying or suppressing a significant number of enemy objects. Additionally, the Russian attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure prompted corresponding actions from Ukrainian and international officials.
