According to inkorr.com: On the night of October 22, the Russian Federation carried out a combined attack on critical infrastructure facilities in Ukraine, using strike drones and missiles of various types. This was reported by 'Hlavkom', citing the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In total, the enemy attacked using 28 missiles and 405 drones:

  • 405 strike UAVs of the Shahed type, 'Herbera';
  • 11 ballistic missiles 'Iskander-M'/KN-23;
  • Nine cruise missiles 'Iskander-K';
  • Four aeroballistic missiles X-47M2 'Kinzhal';
  • Four guided aviation missiles X-59/69.

As of 12:30, according to preliminary data, the air defense managed to destroy or neutralize 349 aerial objects:

  • 333 drones of the Shahed type, 'Herbera';
  • Eight cruise missiles 'Iskander-K';
  • Six ballistic missiles 'Iskander-M'/KN-23;
  • Two guided aviation missiles X-59/69.

Consequences of the attacks

Direct hits of 12 missiles and 55 strike UAVs were recorded at 26 locations, as well as the fall of downed objects at 19 locations. 17 UAVs did not reach their targets.

Throughout the night, Russian troops continued attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure. As a result, emergency power outages were implemented in most regions, which will be lifted after stabilizing the situation in the energy system.

This attack caused significant damage to Ukraine's energy infrastructure, and authorities are actively working to restore stability in the energy system after this heightened situation.
