Russia attacked Chernihiv region: 17 thousand consumers without electricity

According to inkorr.com: In the Chernihiv region, Russian terrorists carried out a night attack, as a result of which about 17 thousand consumers were left without electricity supply. This was reported by the company 'Chernihivoblenergo'.

'At night, the occupiers targeted an energy facility in the Korюkivka district. About 17 thousand consumers are without electricity supply. Energy workers are working on restoration!'

Situation with energy facilities

During a conversation with US President Donald Trump, the issue of responding to attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure was not discussed. Earlier, Russian troops also attacked energy facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Sumy, and Donetsk regions.

Emergency power outages

Head of 'Ukrenergo' Vitalii Zaichenko warns that emergency power outages may continue in Ukraine for up to a week. On the night of October 10, Russia again attacked energy infrastructure facilities using drones and missiles. According to President Volodymyr Zelensky, over 450 drones and more than 30 missiles were launched.

As a result of this attack, over 17 thousand consumers in the Chernihiv region were left without electricity supply. Currently, energy workers are actively working on restoring supply, but emergency outages may continue. The head of 'Ukrenergo' notes that the situation will remain critical over the next week. Russian aggression against Ukraine's energy facilities continues to escalate, forcing the Ukrainian authorities to appeal to partners for support and to strengthen sanctions against Russia.

This situation again threatens not only the energy infrastructure but also the lives of ordinary citizens. Constant attacks on energy facilities force Ukrainians to plan their actions in conditions of unpredictability with electricity supply. Law enforcement and energy workers continue to work to ensure restoration of supply, while the government seeks ways to strengthen the country amid a difficult security situation.
