Russians attacked energy workers in Chernihiv region: how the facility was saved.
According to inkorr.com: Yesterday in the Chernihiv region, Russian drones attacked a repair team from 'Chernihivoblenergo' that was restoring an important energy facility. Fortunately, the workers remained unharmed, although their vehicle sustained minor damage. The completion of the work was delayed until the evening due to a reconnaissance drone that remained in the air over the scene.
“Yesterday, the enemy carried out another attack on the energy system of our region. As a result, one of the important parts of the electricity supply infrastructure in the Koryukivka district was damaged, leaving tens of thousands of residents without electricity,” reported 'Chernihivoblenergo'.
Ongoing control by Russian forces over the territory and regular attacks on electricity supply facilities create serious difficulties for restoring infrastructure in the region. Energy workers are forced to operate in high-risk conditions. The actions of Russian drones once again confirm that the conflict in eastern Ukraine remains tense and may take on new forms, requiring significant efforts to protect the civilian population and infrastructure facilities.
This situation in the Chernihiv region reflects the complex reality that Ukrainian energy workers are forced to work in. Constant attacks create not only physical but also psychological threats that complicate the restoration of critical facilities. The situation requires intervention from authorities and international partners to ensure the safety of workers and the stability of the region's energy system.Read also
