At night, Russians attacked the Ivano-Frankivsk region. The target was an infrastructure facility. This was reported by 'Glavkom', referring to the head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration Svitlana Onyshchuk.

Initially, there were no casualties; however, a fire broke out as a result of the attack.

Fire in Kalush district

According to the State Emergency Service, a fire broke out in warehouse facilities in three locations in the Kalush district, covering an area of about 9 thousand square meters. Rescuers have already localized the fire, and the liquidation is ongoing.

Massive drone attack on Ukraine

Recall that on the night of September 3, Russian troops conducted a massive drone attack on Ukraine. The main areas of the strike included Lutsk, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Znamenka (Kirovohrad region), and Donetsk.

In Vyshgorod, debris from a downed drone caught fire, causing damage to cars and windows of high-rise buildings. The fire that broke out has already been extinguished.

According to the mayor of Khmelnytskyi, the attack caused damage and fires, and rescuers are working to eliminate the aftermath. Public transport in the city is running with deviations from the schedule.

During the night, the enemy also struck railway infrastructure, resulting in four workers sustaining minor shrapnel injuries. The railway workers were hospitalized, and their condition is satisfactory.

In addition, Poland raised its aviation in response to the attack by Russian troops on Ukraine. The operational command is monitoring the situation, and the units are ready to respond.

Also, on the night of September 3, Lutsk was attacked, where two garages and an outbuilding caught fire as a result of the attack, and another was damaged by debris. A private cargo truck was completely burned out.

During the night attacks, the Russians tried to cause damage to the Ivano-Frankivsk region and other cities in Ukraine. Using drones, they targeted infrastructure and civilians; however, the quick response of Ukrainian rescuers helped avoid human casualties. The Polish aviation was ready for possible intervention, monitoring the safety of residents and preparedness to respond to threats.
