According to inkorr.com: Russian occupiers attacked Zaporizhzhia for the second time overnight on August 30, using drones and missiles. This led to significant destruction and numerous casualties, reported the head of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast Administration, Ivan Fedorov.

Explosions from various types of weapons caused power outages in several areas. Fedorov noted that energy workers will begin to address the consequences only after the situation becomes safe.

The number of injured has risen to 16 people, including two children. One person was killed as a result of the attacks, and eight were hospitalized, including children.

Already 22 injured due to the night shelling of Zaporizhzhia by Russians. Among the injured are three children - two boys aged 9 and 10, and a 16-year-old girl. This attack claimed one life.

As a result of the attacks, 14 apartment buildings and more than 40 private houses were damaged. Previous shelling also caused damage to buildings and started a fire at an industrial enterprise.

U.S. President Donald Trump expressed outrage over Russia's strike on Kyiv, although he was not surprised by it, as noted by White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. The priority remains assistance to the victims.

Kyiv businesses also suffered losses: the Honey confectionery on Zhilyanska was destroyed as a result of the attacks.

On August 29, a day of mourning was declared in Kyiv in honor of the victims of enemy attacks, prohibiting entertainment events and lowering flags on buildings. Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha also reported damage to the building of the EU Advisory Mission in Ukraine.

As a result of the night attacks, the Russian army inflicted serious destruction and injuries in Zaporizhzhia, including on children. This sparked outrage in society and a reaction from the U.S. Damage to apartment buildings and businesses caused significant losses for the city. The Kyiv authorities took measures to honor the memory of the deceased and assist the victims, as well as expressed protest against the inhumane actions of the occupiers.
