Russians shelled Sumy region: three dead and destruction.
According to inkorr.com: Russian forces are once again terrorizing the Sumy region, where massive strikes have been taking place since the night. This was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Oleg Grygorov, as noted by 'Glavkom'.
The Russian army is attacking local communities with dozens of strike drones and guided bombs. According to Grygorov, Ukrainian forces managed to destroy some of the enemy drones, but the opponent continues to actively use them.
Communities of Stepanyvka, Sumy, Bilopillia, Velykopysarivka, Komyshanka, and Mykolaivka were under fire. As a result of the attacks, three people died: a 40-year-old man in Mykolaivka, a 65-year-old in Velykopysarivka, and a 66-year-old in Bilopillia.
Continuation of Attacks
The terror continues: around 00:20 on October 9, a series of explosions were heard in Sumy, reported by the city mayor Oleksandr Lysenko. Enemy strikes also led to destruction and damage to civilian infrastructure.
Earlier, in the night of October 7, the Russian occupation army attacked Kharkiv with drones. The city's mayor, Ihor Terekhov, noted that the Industrial District of Kharkiv was under attack. A fire broke out at the impact site. There have been no reports of casualties so far.
