Russians occupied another village in Donetsk region: DeepState map.
The Ukrainian village of Nevelske in the Pokrovsky district of the Donetsk region was captured by Russian occupiers. This was reported by the monitoring portal DeepState.
According to analysts, the occupiers also continue to attack Krasnohorivka. The fighting continues to the north of Hirnyk.
Ukrainian military journalist Bogdan Miroshnikov notes that the area of the village of Nevelske is small: "With such limited space for defense, it is impossible to hold out for long. Nevelske has already been held for a long time. I am glad that the decision was made to retreat."
According to him, the occupiers will soon finalize their positions here. A more serious threat will be the pincers that the Russians are forming on the border between the Pokrovsky and Kurakhovsky directions. Stanislav Bunyatov, a volunteer of the 24th OSHB "Aidar", also confirms the tense situation in the south: "Some of our guys got surrounded. I hope they will be rescued, as many of them are wounded."
Yesterday, soldiers of the 2nd mechanized battalion of the 53rd brigade raised the flag of the 53rd brigade on a large elevator in the village of New York in the Donetsk region.
