According to inkorr.com: In the evening of September 20, an attack using strike drones occurred in the Poltava region. A Russian drone hit a residential building, causing a fire, as reported by the State Emergency Service, confirming information from Glavkom.

Around 6:00 PM, the drone attacked a facility in the Poltava district. According to the State Emergency Service, the fire broke out in an apartment on the third floor and quickly spread to the roof of the building.

There were no residents in the apartment during the shelling, and most people managed to descend to shelter. Information about casualties or injuries has not been received at this time.

The fire was quickly extinguished. Sappers and dog handlers from the State Emergency Service were involved in its localization.

Drone attack on civilian infrastructure

As noted by the city council, drone strikes were also recorded in the Myrhorod and Poltava districts. The occupiers attempted to cause damage to the civilian infrastructure.

It has now become known that enemy drones attacked not only civilian objects but also residential buildings, causing significant damage and creating danger for the peaceful residents of the region.

This attack once again underscores the threat that strike drones pose to the civilian population. It is particularly important for residents to be prepared for potential situations and for rescue services to act effectively in such critical moments.
