According to inkorr.com: As a result of the morning missile shelling in Sumy region, two people died and five were injured. This was reported by the State Emergency Service, referring to information from
"Glavkom".
"A large fire broke out, many houses in the inhabited area were damaged. During the firefighting, the enemy attacked the rescuers again," the message says.
As of now, all fires have been extinguished.
Drone attack on Sumy
Today, September 12, Russian troops shelled the industrial zone in Sumy using drones, causing a fire at the attack site.
In the night of September 11, the occupiers attacked Sumy using drones. Around one o'clock in the morning, enemy drones hit the territory of one of the educational institutions. This resulted in significant material damage and partial destruction of the school building, where a fire broke out. Fire units successfully extinguished the fire. As a result of the strike, vehicles were also damaged and windows were shattered in multi-apartment buildings.
Moreover, a Russian drone hit the Holy Resurrection Cathedral of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine in Sumy, which is one of the main symbols of the city.
As a result of these attacks in Sumy region, two people died, five were injured, resulting in significant damage in the industrial zone and residential areas. Drone shelling also harmed the city and its important architectural monuments.
