On the night of January 18, information spread on the internet that the Russians allegedly invaded Pokrovsk, located in Donetsk. The OSUV 'Khortytsia' stated that there are no Russian troops in the city, as battles continue on the approaches.

Information is circulating about the presence of the enemy in Pokrovsk. This information is not true.

«The operational situation in the Pokrovsk direction remains the most complex at the contact line. Fierce battles continue on the approaches to the agglomeration. Defense forces are resisting the enemy's attempts to realize their numerical superiority and develop an offensive», – the message reads.
