Russians Change Tactics on the Pokrovsk Direction: What Infiltration Means.
According to inkorr.com: On the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy has intensified its attacks: Russian troops are using infiltration tactics, trying to penetrate populated areas in small groups to avoid encounters with the frontline units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by 'Gromadske' citing the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian military has activated assault operations in the area of responsibility of the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of the Air Assault Forces, trying to complicate Ukrainian logistics in the Pokrovsk direction.
“The dominant tactic of the enemy is infiltration – attempts to penetrate in small groups, bypassing the frontline positions of our military,”the corps command stated.
Counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Armed Forces of Ukraine are carrying out counteroffensive operations in the regions of Dobropillia and Pokrovsk. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported that about 330 km of territory is under Ukrainian control: of which 160 km has already been liberated, and over 170 km has been cleared of the enemy.
According to reports, Russian troops have redeployed the 61st Marine Brigade to this direction due to significant losses in personnel.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine are facing pressure from Russian troops in the Pokrovsk direction, which are using infiltration and storming the positions of Ukrainian defenders. Ukrainian forces are actively conducting a counteroffensive, liberating significant territories from enemy control. Further escalation of the situation in this direction is expected, as Russian forces attempt to restore their positions.
