In the city of Sudzha, Kursk region of the Russian Federation, Russian invaders have destroyed a school, reported Oleksiy Dmytrashkivskyi, a representative of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Sudzha.

Dmytrashkivskyi noted that this event caused him disappointment, as he had previously photographed many destroyed schools in Ukraine, but hoped that photos from Russia would bring him positive emotions. However, instead, they only provoked despair.

Increase in North Korean troops

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the military presence of North Korea on the territory of the Russian Federation amounts to 11 thousand soldiers, but this number may increase to 100 thousand.

Preparation of the Russian army

The Russian army is preparing for a future counter-offensive and to push the Armed Forces of Ukraine out of Russian territory. According to the Institute for the Study of War, the number of Russian troops in the Kursk region is not critical.

Putin wants to reclaim the Kursk region

Russian President Vladimir Putin is trying to reclaim the Kursk region from the Armed Forces of Ukraine before the inauguration of US President Donald Trump, that is, by January 20th.

Thanks to the operation in the Kursk region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine were able to capture many invaders and seize Russian equipment from the territory of Ukraine.
