According to inkorr.com: As a result of Russian attacks in part of the Sumy region, there have been power outages. The acting mayor of Sumy, Artem Kobzar, urged residents to remain calm, as energy workers are making every effort to quickly restore power supply.

“I ask residents to understand the situation. Energy workers are doing everything possible to ensure that electricity returns to your homes as quickly as possible,”
he noted.

The company 'Sumyoblenergo' also reported that based on the instruction of the NEC 'Ukrenergo', emergency shutdown schedules have been implemented for different groups of consumers in the region.

Attacks on Konotop and the overall situation in the region

On the night of October 27, the city of Konotop in the Sumy region was subjected to two drone attacks by Russian forces. A full-scale war continues in the region, accompanied by numerous aviation and missile strikes, which have also affected several districts of the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.

As a result of these attacks, power supply has been interrupted, but energy workers are doing everything possible to quickly restore electricity for residents. According to 'Sumyoblenergo', emergency shutdown schedules are in effect in the region. Russian drones continue to attack Konotop, and missile and aviation strikes are ongoing, causing damage in various areas of Ukraine.

The situation in the region remains complicated. With the spread of the conflict and new attacks, local residents face constant power outages and other challenges. Energy workers, police, and emergency services are working in an enhanced mode to ensure safety and restore infrastructure.
