Sadovy on the Russian attack on Poland: Russia does nothing by accident.
According to inkorr.com: Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy expressed support for Poland after the Russian attack. He emphasized that Moscow's actions are not random. This became known from Sadovy's post on Telegram, reports 'Glavkom'.
“I have one advice for our Polish friends. Nobody asked, but it is worth saying out loud. We, Ukrainians, know from our own experience – Russia never does anything by accident. It is an empire whose essence is to wage war, kill, plunder, seize new territories, and during short respites prepare for a new war again,” the post states.
Sadovy also noted: “Therefore, we cannot believe that Russian shaheds simply flew into Poland 19 times. The only right decision is to unite around justice, common sense, and human values. Only having a fist can we repel the attack. And we will do this together with the whole civilized world.”
Poland's reaction to the drone attack
Let us remind you that at night, Russian troops once again attacked Ukraine. During the massive raid, several drones entered Polish territory, forcing Polish military forces to destroy them. As the Prime Minister of Poland reported, 19 drones entered the country, four of which were shot down.
The operational command of the Polish armed forces later announced the start of a military operation aimed at detecting and neutralizing enemy UAVs. Aviation was involved to ensure the security of Polish airspace, and ground air defense systems were put on heightened alert. The country also temporarily closed airspace over several airports, including 'Rzeszów', 'Lublin', 'Warsaw', and 'Modlin'.
Andriy Sadovy, the mayor of Lviv, called for unity in the fight against the Russian threat after the drone attacks. The Polish Army is actively responding to this incident, launching a military operation to protect its airspace. The introduction of the highest state of preparedness and the temporary closure of airspace over several airports demonstrate Europe's solidarity in response to Moscow's aggression and underline the importance of cooperation in this critical situation.
