On Sunday morning, violations of Moldova's airspace by Russian missiles and drones were recorded. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Moldova, Mihai Popșoi, condemned these actions and stated the risks they pose to citizens due to Russia's war.

According to a Twitter post by Mihai Popșoi, he wrote: «We strongly condemn the violation of Moldova’s airspace by Russian missiles and drones aimed at Ukraine’s critical infrastructure. Explosions near our border and low-flying drones over our villages highlight the risks posed to our people by Russia’s brutal war.»

The village of Ruseni in the Edineț district of Moldova published a video showing missiles flying at low altitude. The noise of these missiles has also been confirmed by surveillance cameras.

Users of the Telegram channel Prima Sursă reported that several Russian drones violating Moldova's airspace went undetected by radars as they flew at low altitude. A missile was also reported to have been detected on the Ukrainian side in the Briceni district.

According to President Zelensky's statement, early on the morning of November 17, Russia launched about 120 missiles and 90 drones aimed at various targets in Ukraine. However, air defense systems destroyed over 140 targets. The Minister of Energy of Ukraine, Herman Halushchenko, reported that Russian terrorists are attacking energy system facilities across the country.
