Russian drones have invaded Polish territory
According to inkorr.com: During the night of September 10, 16 cases of Russian drones falling were recorded during a Russian attack on Polish territory. This was reported by 'Glavkom', citing RMF24.
One of the drones landed at a military base of the Territorial Defense Forces in the city of Nowe Miasto nad Pilicą. The incident did not cause significant damage.
- In the Lublin Voivodeship, 9 debris were found;
- In Mazowieckie - 2 debris (including the one that fell on the military base);
- Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship - 3 debris;
- Łódzkie - 1 debris;
- Warmian-Masurian - 1 debris.
The Polish Ministry of Interior also reported the discovery of at least one piece of Russian missile debris on the territory of the country.
Russia's reaction to the events
'Targets for strikes on Polish territory were not planned. The maximum flight range of Russian UAVs, which allegedly crossed the border with Poland, does not exceed 700 km. However, we are ready to hold consultations with the Polish Ministry of Defense on this matter,' the statement said.
The Russian side also noted: 'Last night, the armed forces of the Russian Federation carried out a massive strike with high-precision long-range land, sea, and air-based weapons, as well as strike unmanned aerial vehicles on enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine in the Ivano-Frankivsk, Khmelnytsky, and Zhytomyr regions, as well as in the cities of Vinnytsia and Lviv.'
Let us remind you that Russian forces again attacked Ukraine at night. During the massive attack, several drones crossed the border with Poland, causing Polish military forces to shoot them down. According to the Prime Minister of Poland, 19 drones entered the territory of the country, of which four were destroyed.
Thus, Poland witnessed the invasion of Russian drones in the context of a massive attack on Ukraine, which increases political tension in the region.
