Russian shelling destroyed a 'Nova Poshta' branch in Donetsk region
According to inkorr.com: On the evening of October 5, around 18:40, shelling occurred, resulting in the destruction of a 'Nova Poshta' branch in Donetsk region. At the time of the attack, the branch was closed, so there were no casualties among staff and visitors.
According to the company's information, the shelling led to the destruction of 405 parcels worth over 1 million hryvnias. 'Nova Poshta' assured that it will fully compensate customers for the damages and will provide details regarding reimbursement shortly.
Currently, it has not been reported which specific locality in Donetsk region had its branch destroyed.
The company also reminded of similar incidents that have occurred before. For example, on the night of August 28, the sorting depot of 'Nova Poshta' in Kyiv was attacked, and on July 18, branch No.9 in Sloviansk, Donetsk region was destroyed.
There have been reports of an attack on the 'Nova Poshta' terminal in Sloviansk using Shahed-type strike drones, which was also destroyed.
As a result of the Russian shelling, the 'Nova Poshta' branch in Donetsk region suffered severe damages. The company estimates these at over 1 million hryvnias, promises full compensation for customers, and rapid restoration of the branch's operations. Such attacks pose a serious threat to the infrastructure of the postal company in Ukraine.
This incident once again underscores the dangerous situation for business operations in conflict zones. 'Nova Poshta', responding to such challenges, continues to work on ensuring delivery and protecting the interests of its customers despite the difficulties posed by combat actions.
