Russian soldier detained for murder and rape in Belgorod region.
According to inkorr.com: Military investigators in Russia have detained private Alexey Kostrykin on suspicion of murdering a homeowner and raping his wife in the village of Nova Tavolzhanka, Shebekinsky district, in October 2025.
According to the investigation, Kostrykin attacked the victim, killed her, and fled the scene. A criminal case has been opened, and a request for preventive custody has recently been filed.
“Investigative actions aimed at gathering and securing evidence are underway in the criminal case,” military investigators noted.
Murder of a judge in Kamyshin
In the Volgograd region, in the city of Kamyshin, a terrible murder of federal judge Vasily Vetlughin took place. The judge's body was found with multiple bodily injuries on the evening of August 14 on Sovetskaya Street.
During the investigation, it was revealed that local resident Sergey K. learned about his wife’s relationship with Vetlughin. During a meeting near the courthouse, Sergey sought revenge on the judge using a weapon and a knife. After committing the crime, he voluntarily turned himself in to the police.
“After committing the murder, the man voluntarily surrendered to the law,” law enforcement agencies reported.
These incidents raise alarm and highlight the need for a thorough investigation and measures to ensure public safety. Such crimes are a serious violation of legal and moral standards, and those responsible must be held accountable.
