Russians shot dead captured soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Zaporizhzhia: details of the crime

According to ТСН: Russian military killed five Ukrainian defenders who were in captivity and could not resist. This tragic incident occurred in the morning of November 27 in the Huliaipole direction in the Zaporizhzhia region.

The Zaporizhzhia regional prosecutor's office reported this, emphasizing that the Ukrainian military was captured and then the Russians ruthlessly shot the unarmed soldiers.

“In the morning of November 27, 2025, in the Huliaipole direction in the Zaporizhzhia region, the Russian military cold-bloodedly shot our defenders who were in captivity,” the prosecutor's office stated.

The prosecutor's office noted that this is a serious violation of the Geneva Conventions and yet another grave international crime committed by Russian occupation forces.

A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the intentional killing and violations of the laws and customs of war under Part 2 Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, conducted by the Security Service of Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhia region.

On November 27, DeepState analysts also reported that west of the village of Zelenyi Hai, the Russians interrogated and shot several more Ukrainian captives.

On November 15, there was another shooting of the Armed Forces of Ukraine soldiers by the Russians in Zaporizhzhia. The killers were eliminated with the help of an FPV drone within 20 minutes.

This incident draws attention to the brutal practices employed by the Russian military towards Ukrainian captives. It once again confirms the necessity of international efforts to investigate war crimes and protect human rights in the context of military conflicts. This situation exposes serious problems faced by the Ukrainian side in the struggle for the restoration of peace and justice.
