In Zaporizhzhia, trolleybus routes are changing on October 24: which routes to choose.
According to inkorr.com: On Friday, October 24, the movement of public transport in Zaporizhzhia will temporarily
change. The contact network for trolleybuses on Peremohy Street will be disconnected from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Due to this, several routes will operate according to a new scheme,
reports the Zaporizhzhia City Council.
Changes in trolleybus movement on October 24
Route No. 9 will undergo changes. During the specified time, transport will run in two directions:
One trolleybus with autonomous movement will carry passengers from BK ZAlK to Sedova Street;
The other — from Sedova Street to Zaporizhzhia Square via Soborny Avenue.
After the technical work on the network is completed, the usual traffic mode will be restored. The city authorities urge passengers to take these changes into account when planning trips and to follow the dispatchers' instructions. Earlier
the DniproHES was closed.
Transport Development in Zaporizhzhia
Local authorities are actively working on updating the public transport system. Currently, a survey is being conducted among residents to determine which routes need improvement with new European buses. At the same time, repair work is underway on the Arch Bridge — an important transport facility in Zaporizhzhia.
According to the city council, the main work is planned to be completed in the coming months. After that, the movement of public and private transport on the bridge will be restored.
Short-term restrictions, such as the disconnection of the contact network, are part of planned technical measures to enhance the safety and stability of electric transport in the city.
Let us remind you that recently in Zaporizhzhia, for the first time since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia,
the work of nursery groupsfor children under three years has been resumed.
As can be seen, the Zaporizhzhia authorities are actively implementing changes in the urban transport system, which indicates a desire to improve conditions for passengers. The survey among residents will help identify the most important areas for future improvements, which can positively affect the transport infrastructure in the city.
