Four New Ryanair Routes from Bratislava Announced: Where Ukrainians Can Fly Next.
Ryanair Expands Its Bratislava Network
According to Novyny.live: In a major move for 2026, Ryanair has confirmed the addition of four new routes from Bratislava along with a fourth aircraft stationed at the airport. The updated flight schedule is part of the airline’s strategy to strengthen its regional presence and increase connectivity to key European cities. This expansion is particularly relevant for Ukrainian travelers who frequently use Bratislava as a convenient hub due to its proximity to the Ukrainian border.
Starting in October 2026, Ryanair will base a fourth Boeing 737 in Bratislava. With this addition, the carrier will operate 23 routes from the Slovak capital to destinations across Europe. The newly announced routes are:
- Paphos (Cyprus)
- Tirana (Albania)
- Turin (Italy)
- Warsaw (Poland)
This network growth is expected to attract more passengers and intensify competition in the regional aviation market.
$400 Million Investment and Passenger Growth Targets
To support rising demand, Ryanair is investing $400 million in its Bratislava operations, aiming to boost annual passenger traffic to 2.2 million—a 125% increase. The airline has also launched a ticket sale with fares starting from €29.99, a move designed to attract new customers and boost the popularity of flights from Bratislava.
The route expansion reflects growing demand for air travel in the region and is poised to stimulate tourism infrastructure in Slovakia and neighboring countries. It could also drive greater competition among airlines, potentially lowering ticket prices for consumers. For Ukrainians, these new connections offer additional travel options and easier access to Southern Europe, the Balkans, and Poland.
