SBU identified the torture chamber of a Russian militant: cut Z on the forehead of a prisoner.
According to inkorr.com: The Security Service of Ukraine has identified another Russian militant suspected of war crimes against Ukrainian prisoners of war. His name is Volodymyr Polupoltinnykh, and he is the commander of a unit in eastern Ukraine. According to the SBU, the participant of the '6th Separate Cossack Motorized Rifle Regiment of the LPR' actively participated in the torture of Ukrainian prisoners of war, in particular personally cutting the letter 'Z' on the forehead of one of them.
Polupoltinnykh's Activities
Polupoltinnykh, who resides in the Luhansk region, joined the militants back in 2014. He has been charged with violations of the laws and customs of war, which is a serious violation of international law. These actions clearly contradict international norms regarding the treatment of prisoners of war.
It has been documented that during one of the tortures, he cut the letter 'Z' on the forehead of a Ukrainian prisoner of war with a knife
Espionage Activities
In addition, the intelligence agency detained a young resident of the Kremenchuk district who collaborated with Russian special services, spying on the movement of Ukrainian troops in central regions. He used a mini-camera on a railway section, allowing Russian services to receive up-to-date information about the movement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine's armored vehicles.
These incidents again emphasize the aggressive nature of Russia's actions against Ukraine. The effective work of Ukrainian special services to identify and stop espionage activities and crimes against the military underscores the need to maintain security in wartime conditions.
