SBU Exposes Five Fake Kremlin Protests in Poland: Participants Paid Up to $200 Each.
Exposure of Simulated Demonstrations in Poland
According to Espreso.tv: Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) has announced the uncovering of five staged protest events orchestrated by the Kremlin in the Polish cities of Warsaw and Wrocław between 2025 and 2026. These operations were designed to destabilize the region and manipulate public opinion.
Individuals were recruited to join these rallies with payments ranging from $100 to $200. Investigative efforts have identified 11 participants, including two Belarusian nationals and nine Ukrainian citizens. All of those implicated have been deported to their home countries.
Current Developments and International Cooperation
International investigative and operational actions are ongoing to trace further links and potential organizers behind these fake events. Polish authorities detained nine Ukrainians and two Belarusians involved in the demonstrations. Security agencies continue to monitor the situation closely, working to prevent similar incidents in the future.
This case highlights Moscow’s attempts to interfere in the affairs of a neighboring state and underscores the critical need for cross-border collaboration to counter destabilizing activities. The SBU remains actively engaged in identifying emerging threats and safeguarding national security, which is essential for maintaining stability across Europe.
These events are part of a broader pattern of hybrid warfare tactics used by Russia to influence public sentiment and create discord in allied nations.
