SBU attacked the oil refinery in Ufa: consequences for the Russian army.
Attack on the oil refinery in Bashkortostan
According to inkorr.com: On October 3, the 'A' Special Operations Center of the SBU struck the Bashneft-UNPZ oil refinery in the city of Ufa, Bashkortostan. This refinery is one of the largest in Russia and supplies fuel to the Russian army.
After the explosions at the plant, fire engines arrived, and black smoke rose above it. Preliminary information indicates that the fire broke out near the ELU-AVT-6 crude oil processing unit.
This is the third drone strike by the SBU in Bashkortostan in the last month - 1400 kilometers from Ukraine. Such strikes demonstrate that there are no safe places in the deep rear of the Russian Federation. The SBU can reach any targets on enemy territory involved in the war against Ukraine.
It should also be noted that there was a drone attack on the oil depot in the village of Matveyev Kurgan, which provides fuel and lubricants to various organizations and engages in retail fuel sales through its own gas stations.
On the night of October 9, the Korobkovsky gas processing plant and the linear production and dispatch station 'Yefimovka' in the Volgograd region were attacked.
Ukrainian drones continue to strike important facilities on the territory of Russia. Attacks on oil refineries and gas processing facilities are part of the strategy in the war with the Russian Federation.
These strikes indicate that Ukrainian forces can effectively operate far from the front, damaging the infrastructure that supports the Russian army. Given the escalation of the conflict, such operations may become the norm in Ukraine's strategy aimed at disrupting the enemy's logistics chains.
