Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal reported that in January 2024, the Government will implement a number of important social initiatives.
One of the key programs will be the introduction of a monthly 'Teacher's allowance'.
Every teacher will receive an additional 1000 UAH 'in hand' to their salary each month, and starting in September this amount will be 2000 UAH, - noted the Prime Minister.
Additionally, within the framework of the 'Winter Support' program, the 'eBook' initiative will be implemented. More than 56,000 applications from young people who turn 18 in 2024 have already been registered.
Moreover, in January, a subsidy program for housing rental for internally displaced persons will start. This initiative is aimed at assisting Ukrainian citizens who have left their homes due to the war.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal emphasized that this step is important support for many families during this difficult wartime.
Previously, additional payments to pensions were introduced for pensioners over 65 years old.
