On Friday, August 8, new political consultations will begin in Chernivtsi between Ukraine, Romania and Moldova. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine

reported that this time representatives of Poland and Lithuania will be involved in the negotiations. This expansion of the format is aimed at strengthening the security of the Baltic-Black Sea region.

noted that the involvement of Warsaw and Vilnius is a logical step towards a joint regional strategy. 'This is a signal that security in the Baltic-Black Sea region is indivisible — in the common interests of security, good neighborliness and European integration,' he emphasized.
