Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiga emphasized that Ukraine was not going to make any territorial concessions, stating that all necessary answers are already contained in the Constitution. 'Ukraine seeks a just and sustainable peace based on the UN Charter and international law norms,' the minister stressed. Sybiga also noted that the world must unite and respond decisively to Putin's actions, who is testing the situation. He emphasized that any weakness or indecision only increases the power of the Russian leader. Therefore, it is important to have a strong position to achieve peace. Sybiga underscored that the first step is a ceasefire regime, which will pave the way for further negotiations in any format. Donald Trump previously expressed the opinion that in order to achieve peace, Ukraine would have to make territorial concessions. However, Volodymyr Zelensky immediately rejected such an idea, asserting that Ukrainians would not give their land to the occupiers. Currently, the main focus in Kyiv is on achieving sustainable peace through a ceasefire and further negotiations.
