Ukrainian Armed Forces Strike Oil Refinery in Russia and Airfield in Crimea: Details of Successful Operation.
According to ТСН: As part of the reduction of the military-economic potential of the Russian aggressor, Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Saratov oil refinery in Russia, a drone storage site at the 'Saki' airfield in occupied Crimea, and several other military facilities on the night of November 28.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reports that the Saratov oil refinery produces over 20 types of petroleum products, including gasoline, fuel oil, diesel fuel, and technical sulfur, which are used to meet the needs of the Russian occupiers.
'A series of explosions was recorded, after which a fire was observed in the target area. The impact results are being clarified.'
— the report says. The storage location of drones at the 'Saki' airfield in Novofedorivka, controlled by Russian troops, was also hit.
'Several air defense objects were damaged at the airfield, including the 'Pantsir-S1' and 'Tor-M2'. After suppressing the enemy's air defense means, a hangar where enemy drones 'Orion' and 'Forpost' were stored was destroyed.'
— the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces stated. Additionally, the command and control point of the enemy and a 'KamAZ' truck were also targeted by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
'The extent of the damage is being clarified. Moreover, areas of concentration of enemy manpower and storage facilities of fuel and lubricants in temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions were struck. The results are being clarified.'
— the General Staff reported. The Defense Forces continue active actions to undermine the military-economic potential of the Russian occupiers and compel the Russian Federation to cease its armed aggression against Ukraine.
It is reported that recently, strike drones hit the military unit of the 'Akhmat-North' regiment in Grozny.
This series of strikes indicates the continuation of Ukraine's strategic campaign to reduce the resource base of Russian troops, especially in the occupied regions. The strike on critical infrastructure facilities can significantly impact the supply of Russian forces attempting to maintain their aggressive strategy in Ukraine.
