American Central Command forces successfully destroyed several weapon systems.
As a result of the strike, three multiple launch rocket systems mounted on trucks, a T-64 tank, and mortars were destroyed. General Patrick Ryder called it a self-defense strike as rockets were fired, and there was a mortar attack from the vicinity of the American base.
Currently, it is being established who owned the destroyed systems. However, the Pentagon spokesperson emphasized that these actions were taken in self-defense and are not related to large-scale operations in northwest Syria.
