According to inkorr.com: Reports of a sharp drop in temperature and snow in Ukraine have been exaggerated. This opinion was expressed by forecaster Nataliya Didenko.
She clarified on Facebook that the forecasts about snow in September are not true. According to Didenko, snow and wet snow are only possible after September 26 in the Carpathians and surrounding areas, while no such precipitation is expected in other regions of Ukraine.
Possible changes in the weather in Ukraine
The forecaster also noted that long-term forecasts may change, so they should be confirmed closer to the date. Currently, there is not enough information for accurate assessments regarding winter precipitation, but local snowfalls are possible in the mountains.
“I will continue to warn people about the risks associated with the state of the atmosphere. It is my responsibility to properly inform about possible weather changes,” explained Nataliya Didenko.
Thus, having reviewed the forecaster's words, it can be stated that the rumors about the impending cold snap and snow in September in Ukraine are unfounded. The forecast remains open to changes, so it is worth keeping an eye on updates closer to the specified date.
These warnings may be important for planning outdoor activities, as well as for farmers who depend on the weather. In case of changes in the situation, keep an eye on the news to be ready for possible surprises from nature.
