The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak stated that Russia may face a scenario similar to that in Syria. He wrote about this on his Telegram channel. Yermak emphasized that the Syrian fiasco of Russia is a consequence of Putin's geopolitical folly and limitations.
Recall that in connection with reports of the fall of the Assad regime in Syria, newly elected US President Donald Trump stated that Assad fled his country, and Russia, which supported him, is no longer interested in protecting him. Trump also urged Putin to immediately ceasefire and begin negotiations, as continuing the conflict could lead to even greater catastrophes.
It was previously reported that Bashar al-Assad's plane disappeared from radar and there is a likelihood of an aviation disaster.
