Complaints about violations of language laws increased by 27%: reasons named.
According to inkorr.com: In the first three quarters of 2025, Ukraine recorded a 27% increase in the number of complaints about violations of language laws, totaling 2227 appeals. The main concerns of citizens relate to the absence of a Ukrainian version in online stores, as well as in advertising, service, education, culture, and medical institutions.
The highest number of complaints came from Kyiv (39%), Odesa (15%), Kharkiv (13%), and Dnipropetrovsk (9%) regions. The authorized representative for the protection of the state language, Olena Ivanivska, noted that the increase in complaints indicates that Ukrainians have become more attentive to their right to use the state language.
According to her, in the border regions of Ukraine, the state language is under constant pressure and has to compete with the languages of neighboring countries.

Olena Ivanivska also drew parents' attention to the review of the Russian cartoon 'Masha and the Bear', emphasizing that it is a tool of hybrid warfare, promoting the spread of Russian values and cultural influence.
The increase in complaints about violations of language laws in Ukraine indicates a growing interest among Ukrainians in the protection and preservation of their language. The authorized representative emphasized the importance of supporting the Ukrainian language in border regions and highlighted the threats associated with Russian propaganda through media content. These changes in public attitude towards the language issue may open new opportunities for the promotion of the Ukrainian language in everyday life and among the youth.
