Russian aggressors carried out a night assault on three energy infrastructure facilities in Ukraine using drones and missiles.

This was reported by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

Last night the enemy carried out another massive attack on Ukrainian energy, using drones and missiles for this purpose. In particular, three power transmission facilities were attacked, one of them in the Mykolaiv region.

Despite the attack, Ukraine's energy system continues to operate in a balanced mode. According to the Prime Minister, no power outages are planned, and the Russians did not achieve their goals.

During a visit to Mykolaiv, Shmyhal became acquainted with the process of installing two cogeneration units with a capacity of 1.5 MW each. These units will provide heat to over 200 multi-apartment residential buildings, 5 medical and 24 educational institutions.

«Mykolaivoblteploenergo» plans to build 5 distributed generation facilities based on gas piston cogeneration units with a total capacity of 5.5 MW by the new heating season.

In the past day, due to shelling and hostilities, power outages were recorded in the Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Ivano-Frankivsk, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv regions.
