Dollar exchange rate will rise in November: experts named new limits.
According to inkorr.com: In October 2025, the dollar exchange rate in Ukraine continues to rise, and it seems that this trend will not change in the near future. According to analysts, will remain at a high level due to seasonal demand, budget forecasts, and negotiations with the IMF. At the beginning of October, the exchange rate was 41.14 UAH, and by the end of the month, it reached 41.97 UAH. This was reported by .
Reasons for the dollar's growth
Financial analyst Andriy Shevchishin believes that the current increase in the exchange rate is a 'managed devaluation' of the hryvnia. He notes that the NBU has sufficient reserves but restricts currency interventions to avoid excessive pressure on the currency. The regulator intervenes only if the market starts to panic:
“There will come a time when the NBU will say stop, because this is turning into panic and the devaluation is very rapid,”– the expert explains.
Another factor is seasonal demand from importers and discussions between the NBU and the IMF regarding monetary policy. However, the director of the financial markets department of 'Globus Bank' Taras Lesovyi assures that the situation is under control:
“The NBU has plenty of reasons to keep the situation under control.”
Forecast for November
According to Lesovyi's estimates, . The situation is influenced by macro plans for 2026, inflationary background, and risks for energy.Forecasted ranges:
dollar: 41.8–42.5 UAH
euro: 48.5–50 UAH
Analysts do not expect sharp fluctuations – the rate may fluctuate, with periods of growth followed by stable stages.
Experts urge the public to remain calm and avoid impulsive decisions.
“The best approach now is to calmly plan expenditures and avoid emotional actions,”– emphasizes Lesovyi.
Since autumn 2023, a regime of managed flexibility of the exchange rate has been introduced in Ukraine. is formed by banking markets, while the NBU monitors sharp changes. The highest exchange rate of 2025 was recorded in January and amounted to 42.28 UAH. Traditionally, in autumn, the demand for currency exceeds supply by 10–15%.
