Medical:

  • free receipt of medications by prescriptions;
  • service in state medical institutions out of turn;
  • priority hospitalization based on indications;
  • the right to treatment in state sanatoriums at the expense of the state or local budget (or compensation for self-treatment).

Housing:

  • priority right to receive housing if the family needs improvement of living conditions;
  • the possibility of participating in state and local housing programs (for example, 'eOselya').

Utility:

  • 75% discount on housing payments;
  • 75% discount on gas, electricity, and other utility services, and for people with disabilities, a 100% discount is provided. For families with non-working persons, the gas discount for heating is 75% of the double size of the normative area (42 sq. m per person and 21 sq. m per family);
  • 75% discount on fuel for households that do not have central heating. The discount is calculated on 21 sq. m of heated area per person and additionally 10.5 sq. m per family.

Professional benefits:

  • priority right to retain a job when downsizing;
  • the possibility of taking leave at a convenient time;
  • exemption from night or overtime work upon request (if there are children).

The wife of a combat participant (UBD), as well as children, have the right to a number of social benefits in the form of free medical care, housing, utility services, and professional assistance. These benefits are aimed at supporting and recognizing the contribution of servicemen's families to the defense of the state and public safety.
