Ukraine should not conduct hasty negotiations with Russia, as this may have negative consequences. This was stated by former head of the Polish Foreign Ministry Anna Fotyga in an interview with Ukrinform.

'I have always been concerned that our allies might encourage Ukraine to engage in hasty negotiations with Russia. But I believe that the desire to change the situation and prevent the loss of Ukraine's territorial integrity will prevail,' Fotyga emphasized.

She noted that 'negotiations that will lead to a frozen conflict will not be beneficial for Ukraine, the region, or the world. Russia should gain no benefits from its criminal actions,' the former minister added.

Fotyga also supported the swift invitation of Ukraine to NATO. 'Any step in this direction is important as it will stimulate change,' she noted.
