Trump's Special Envoy: Ukraine and Russia Ready for Peace Talks Due to Exhaustion.
Both Sides Ready for Peace Talks
Lieutenant General Keith Kellogg, the special envoy of elected U.S. President Donald Trump for Ukraine and Russia, stated that the conflict between both countries could be resolved through peace talks due to losses and exhaustion.
According to a representative of the U.S. Department of Defense, Russia is losing up to 200 servicemen daily. There have also been reports of numerous casualties among North Korean military personnel during the fighting in Ukraine. In turn, Ukrainian forces have already lost about 40% of the occupied territory in the Kursk region of Russia.
Great to be with @Varneyco @FoxBusiness this morning. After 1000 days of war between UKR and RU, the largest and longest since World War II, it is Time for it to end. I believe a President Trump will deliver on that promise he made to America and the World. pic.twitter.com/KPML657A1j

'President Donald Trump can stop this conflict, no matter how complicated it may seem,' Kellogg stated on Fox Business.
He also emphasized that the situation now is in a war of attrition, where the size of losses for the Ukrainian army is five times greater than those of Russia. 'After 1000 days of war, with hundreds of thousands of Russians and Ukrainians dead, both sides understand that perhaps it is time to retreat,' he said.
Kellogg also announced a planned trip to Kyiv in January, but noted that the details of the visit will be determined by Trump’s team. 'We cannot shape policy through statements in the media, but we can communicate with the people... any trip will be aimed at gathering information, not defining policy,' the envoy explained.
