On April 20, the Church of the Resurrection in Chernihiv gathered representatives of various Christian denominations who prayed for peace in Ukraine. Some participants were surprised that representatives of the regional authorities were not present at the prayer. This event took place at the Holy Trinity Cathedral, which previously belonged to the UOC-MP and was transferred to the ownership of the OCU in 2023. This was the first service of the Archbishop of the UOC-MP in this temple after its transition. The residents of Chernihiv describe this prayer as a particularly spiritual event. Representatives of different denominations united to pray for peace in Ukraine.
