Regarding Hrynkevych: first details of the proceedings from the courtroom.

In the case against entrepreneur from Lviv Igor Hrynkevych, who is accused of bribing a state official from the DBR, the pretrial investigation has been completed and court hearings have begun. At the first session of the Shevchenkivskyi District Court on November 26, it became known that there was no information about the bribery at the Time of registration of the proceedings against Hrynkevych.

In the materials of the case, there is an extract dated December 26, 2023, which states that on December 25, 2023, at 14:08:44, information about a criminal offense under Part 3 of Article 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine was entered into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations, with the essence: 'regarding the possible proposal of a Ukrainian citizen Hrynkevych Igor Volodymyrovych to the deputy head of the Main Investigation Department Brusso Kostiantyn Myroslavovych for an illegal benefit. On the same day, a second episode was recorded at 14:12:18 under Part 1 of Article 365, Part 4 of Article 27,' cited the lawyer.

According to the indictment from the DBR, Hrynkevych is accused of 'offering an illegal benefit to a public official.' However, there is no such information in the Unified Register. The defendant's attorney emphasized that the criminal offense specified in the indictment differs from what was registered in the Unified Register.

All the speeches of the attorney and the prosecutor confirmed the absence of any fact of bribery in Hrynkevych's case. The prosecutor did not refute the defense attorney's statements. The lawyer explained that the offering and provision of an illegal benefit are different offenses with different objective sides of the crime composition. As a result, all evidence in the case is inadmissible.

It also became known about a violation of jurisdiction in Hrynkevych's case. The defense argued that the investigation 'regarding illegal benefit' should have been conducted by the NABU, not the DBR. During the court session, the DBR official whom Hrynkevych contacted regarding the bribery was mentioned.

Kostiantyn Myroslavovych Brusso acted as the deputy head of the Main Investigation Department. From public declarations, it is seen that Brusso's wife acquired a new apartment during the war, and the family owns two cars. Brusso's salary in the DBR amounts to over 1.3 million UAH for 2023.
