Blogger Mandziuk's Case Dismissed After Linguistic Review Finds No Crime.
Criminal Proceedings Against Olena Mandziuk Dropped
According to TSN.ua: Influencer Olena Mandziuk has announced the closure of a criminal case that was opened following a social media post she made, triggered by a complaint from lawmaker Oleksiy Honcharenko. On the evening of April 1, 2026, Mandziuk stated that the investigation had concluded and all suspicions against her were lifted. The case originated from a social media post that drew a reaction from the politician.
Mandziuk noted that
“there is no corpus delicti. The case was opened solely due to the appeal of a Verkhovna Rada deputy. That is the only reason it existed.”
An official forensic linguistic examination conducted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs found no evidence of incitement to hatred in her statements.
Impact on Reputation
Mandziuk also emphasized that the case was
“pure manipulation aimed at destroying my name, reputation, and public work.”She suffered significant financial losses, with 90% of her blog income disappearing due to the pressure and bullying that accompanied the situation.
The closure of the case marks a crucial step in restoring her reputation and allowing her to continue her social media activities.
This situation highlights the importance of protecting free speech and personal reputation in today’s information environment. It also raises questions about the use of political power to pressure public figures, which can have serious consequences for their work and freedom of expression.
Rebuilding her reputation could positively affect Mandziuk’s future as an influencer, while also exposing the broader challenges faced by others in the realm of public communication.
