The delegations of the defense ministries of the USA and the UK held a Strategic Dialogue, during which they discussed the situation in Ukraine aimed at countering Russian aggression, as well as issues related to strengthening collective defense in Europe.
This was reported by Eric Pahon, an official representative of the Pentagon, citing Ukrinform.
'The strategic part of the dialogue included discussions on the recent Strategic Review of the UK's defense, cooperation in strategic readiness, and Russia's aggressive war in Ukraine,' the document states.
They also discussed the resilience of the defense industry of both countries and the European Union, measures to strengthen collective security, partnership within the AUKUS initiative, and other issues.
The meeting was led by the deputy defense ministers and deputy chiefs of the general staff of both countries.
