The USA warned allies about the threat of Russian missile strikes: details

According to ТСН: The U.S. Army Secretary Dan Driscoll tried to convince European partners of the need to quickly end the war in Ukraine, citing data on the growing threat from the Kremlin.

Threat from Russia

During a meeting with European allies, Driscoll noted that Russia is attempting to produce long-range missiles, accumulating them for further attacks on Ukraine. According to him, in recent years, Russia launched missiles as quickly as it could, but now it is capable of accumulating them.

Officials familiar with the situation believe that Driscoll was warning about the need for a swift peaceful resolution in Ukraine, as a serious missile threat looms not only over it but also beyond its borders.

Reaction of Western leaders

Western officials who witnessed his speech reacted to these remarks, considering the buildup of Russia's military capabilities a troubling signal.

According to the publication, despite the fact that after the war ends, Russia is unlikely to reduce its arsenal, ending the conflict "could eliminate the potential justification" for the Kremlin to launch missiles and drones at the territories of other countries.

It should be noted that Dan Driscoll, during the delivery of the initial peace plan, warned the Ukrainian authorities about the limited capabilities of the U.S. and NATO to change the difficult situation on the front.

This situation underscores how important it is for the international community to support Ukraine in its struggle for independence. Openness to dialogue and a desire for peace can be the key to stability in the region. Given the new challenges facing Europe, efforts to ensure security will become even more relevant.
