As a result of the explosion on Ryazansky Prospekt in Moscow, General Lieutenant Igor Kirilov of the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Defense Forces of the Russian Armed Forces was killed. This is reported by Russian media.

It is noted that he was the one conducting press briefings for the Ministry of Defense in 2023, during which he spoke about terrorist attacks being prepared on the territory of Russia.

Kirilov was blown up at the moment he was leaving the entrance with his driver, who had come to take the chief to work.

The driver also died.
