It became known when the housing rental subsidy program for displaced persons will start.

The rental housing subsidy program for displaced persons will start in mid-January 2025. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal. He stated that this option will be available for families who spend more than 30% of their income on rent.

"For displaced persons, we are launching a housing rental subsidy program from mid-January next year. This option will be available for families who spend more than 30% of their total income on rent," said Shmyhal.

The Prime Minister also reminded that the state is rolling out a large-scale winter support program, including housing subsidies. Currently, 2.8 million Ukrainian families receive such subsidies and benefits.

"The Pension Fund has already recalculated the amount of subsidies for this heating season. In the 2025 budget, 42 billion UAH is allocated for these needs," noted the Prime Minister.
