The Coalition of the Resolute Has Plans to Deploy Troops in Ukraine: What We Know

According to ТСН: The "Coalition of the Resolute" has prepared strategies for deploying troops on Ukrainian territory and strengthening the country's defense capabilities — in the air, at sea, and on land.

This was stated by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

“Within the ‘Coalition of the Resolute’, we had a political process involving the leaders of the countries, as well as a military process involving military planners. We declared that we want to develop military plans to ensure security in the air, at sea, and on land, as well as to strengthen Ukraine's own capabilities,” said the British Prime Minister.

Starmer noted that currently the coalition members have military plans for each of the directions, but he left the details off the record. He emphasized that it is important to achieve peace.

“If necessary, this involves ground deployment, but the priority right now is to achieve a fair and lasting peace,” Starmer said.

It is recalled that during the online meeting of the 'Coalition of the Willing', the leaders of the participant countries discussed guarantees of Ukraine's security. Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda emphasized that these guarantees should not become another 'Budapest Memorandum', noting that there can be no 'territorial concessions of Ukraine'.

Sources also reported that the United States plans to provide Ukraine with security guarantees, but in exchange for this, Kyiv would have to give up territories. An American official noted that the guarantees would be based on NATO Article 5 and would have legal force after being approved by Congress.

Discussing the issue of Ukraine's security, the international community is actively considering various scenarios that could affect the military situation in the region. At the same time, the pursuit of peace remains a key task for all parties, as protracted conflicts threaten not only Ukraine's stability but also security in Europe as a whole.
