American writer Stephen King has decided to leave the social network X due to its negative atmosphere. He published a corresponding statement on his page in the social network X.

"I am leaving Twitter (now X - Glavcom). I tried to stay, but the atmosphere became too negative," King wrote.

The writer added that he is moving to the social network Threads.

"Follow me on Threads if you want," he addressed his readers.

Let us remind you that Stephen King drew attention to his novel "The Dead Zone," published in 1979, by making an unexpected statement about parallels between his character and Donald Trump. In his post on platform X (formerly Twitter), King pointed out:

"Forty-five years ago, I wrote a book about Donald Trump. It was called 'The Dead Zone.' I named him Greg Stillson." This statement by Stephen King sparked active discussions on social networks, where users shared their interpretations and thoughts on the similarities between the fictional character and the real politician.

By the way, billionaire Elon Musk stated that users should not trust the messenger WhatsApp. Musk wrote about this on Twitter. He reacted to a tweet where a user showed a screenshot indicating that the WhatsApp messenger had used the microphone several times while the person was sleeping.
