Century of Hanna Khrapko: The Secret of Longevity in Songs
A resident of Zolote Potok in the Chortkiv district of Ternopil region, Hanna Khrapko, celebrated her centenary. At her age, she sings and awaits the end of the Russian-Ukrainian war. In her youth during World War II, she was taken to Germany, where she worked hard, endured harsh hardships and losses.
«I came home, and the Germans had plundered everything. They took the cow, chickens, and cleaned everything out», – Hanna Khrapko reported.
After returning to her native Zolote Potok, she got married and, together with her husband, raised three children. The woman is convinced that the secret of her longevity lies in music and songs, which she always enjoys.
After the ceremonial candle burning on the cake to celebrate her 100th birthday, Hanna Khrapko confessed that she wants to live for another two years to see how Ukraine develops and flourishes. This is extremely important to her.
